Bollywood singer, Aditya Narayan, son of Udit Narayan, was caught on camera abusing the airport officials and threatening one of them after an altercation. The video has been uploaded online. Aditya was travelling with a group of 5 people when the authority stopped him for carrying excess baggage of 40 kg.
According to IndiGo, a sum of Rs 13,000 was to be paid but Aditya refused to pay this amount to the female check-in staff member.
Aditya became adamant that the will not pay more than Rs 10,000 and started misbehaving with the female staff member. The IndiGo staff said that when they tried to speak to the singer politely and asked him to be civil & not use such language, he started shouting even louder and used abusive words.
In the video, Aditya is seen shouting and saying that he is free to say whatever he wants to. He also threatened the staff and said that the airline can stop him from entering the flight, but once he will reach Mumbai, he will ensure that action is taken against him. He said, “My name is not Aditya Narayan if I don’t get your underwear removed.”
According to ANI, the IndiGo officials also told that Aditya later apologised to the ground staff and was allowed to fly.
