Next time you’re in Russia, watching wargames, we suggest keeping your distance, for you might be mistaken for a target. Some civilians found that out the hard way. Here’s what happened.
During the Zapad 2017 military exercise, what appears to be a pair of Ka-50 Black Shark attack helicopters, are seen flying low towards the target while a man casually walks into the frame. A second later. Boom!
According to reports, the incident took place at Luzhsky range near St. Petersburg earlier this week. The same report mentions that there appeared to be a technical glitch and that, “The missiles blasted off on their own.”
The injured are reportedly journalists who were there to cover the wargames.
